Syndication
License your content for others to re-post — the authorized way.
Syndication lets a creator who owns content license the right to re-post it to another channel. The buyer syndicates proven content to grow their own audience; the creator earns from work they own. Crucially, this works WITH platforms’ rights systems, not around them: the license is real, and the creator authorizes the buyer through the platform’s own tools so the re-upload is recognized as licensed. It is not a way to evade content detection — it’s a way to make an authorized re-post legitimate and documented.
How authorized syndication works
A creator lists content they genuinely own and sets syndication terms (which platforms, exclusive or not, territory). A buyer licenses it. The creator then authorizes the buyer’s channel through the platform’s official rights tools — for example, whitelisting the channel or releasing a rights claim — so the buyer’s re-upload is recognized as licensed rather than flagged. The syndication contract documents the whole arrangement.
Why it has to be done right
A syndication license is only valid if the seller actually owns the content and grants authorization through legitimate channels. IPexchange requires the seller to warrant ownership and provides the contract, but the seller must complete the platform-side authorization. This protects both parties and keeps everyone compliant with platform terms.
What the buyer gets
Documented, authorized rights to re-post the content on the agreed platforms, plus the syndication contract as proof of license. Because the use is authorized through the platform’s own systems, the buyer can publish without their upload being treated as infringement.
What the buyer gets
- Authorized rights to re-post the content on agreed platforms
- A syndication contract documenting the license
- Content the platform recognizes as licensed to them
What the seller gives
- Authorized re-posting rights to their own content
- Platform-side authorization of the buyer’s channel
- A warranty that they own the content — in exchange for payment
Who it's good for
Creators who own a library of content and want to earn from letting others re-post it; channels that want to grow with proven, legitimately-licensed content.
